I am working as Planning and Project Control Manager at Saudi Technical Limited. I started with this company in Feb-2012 as Senior Planning Engineer. Due to my commitment to my work and as an individual who has strived hard to achieve the best for his professional development, I was promoted to Planning & Control Manager in 2015. I have done BSc in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan and MSc in Engineering Project Management form Middlesex University London, United Kingdom. I am PMP® certified and have done other related certifications. I have got years of international experience in the field of construction. In our construction industry variation orders, changes in design, modifications of specifications, revised equipment selections, delays in access and unforeseen causes of delay are not unprecedented event. Such events lead to affect the time schedule and cause cost implications. I as a Planning Manager have worked and managed for different claims done by our company and involved in the Alternate dispute resolution techniques which are aimed to resolve these disputes. I have been participating in the process of resolving the disputes of our company with the different Clients and there representatives in most amicable way possible. I have been using different EOT methods which include TIA, As planned vs As Built, Impacted As Planned and Window Analysis techniques for getting Extension of time and claiming for Prolongation Cost and Disruption Claims. I have been managing and working to resolve disputes by using Conciliation, Mediation or combination of both of them by clarifying the issues involved and seeking conciliation rather than encouraging confrontation to resolve these disputes. I believe in continuous learning and staying relevant in my field by attending workshops and different certifications. At the moment I am also studying Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Contract Management programme at the College of Contract Management from the United Kingdom. I believe that CIArb membership will further support and develop my Career and connect me globally to other professional of our field.
