Personal bio
I am a dispute resolution professional with a background in criminal justice, North American logistics & transportation, consumer protection and judgment recovery. Over the years, I’ve facilitated the resolution of complex conflicts involving consumers, sellers & lenders, employers & workers, and public agencies—often in high-stakes or time-sensitive situations.
My approach is grounded in fairness, empathy, and accountability. I prioritize active listening and collaborative problem-solving, utilizing a first nations circle style approach where applicable, with a focus on sustainable outcomes that respect the dignity and needs of all parties involved. Whether managing informal negotiations or participating in structured arbitration processes, I work to build consensus, even in emotionally charged or structurally imbalanced settings. My experience has taught me where the parties are involved in crafting a resolution, then the outcomes are more successful.
I also bring a growing knowledge of occupational safety and fraud prevention, which informs my understanding of disputes involving employment risks and regulatory compliance. With one of my primary focus areas being post-award/judgment agreements or consent decrees, I have the ability to work with parties to ensure that orders of the Court are carried out, reasonable payments and compliance is met with the flexibility to assist parties navigate difficult negotiation processes.
At the core of my work is a commitment to neutrality, transparency, and equity. I believe that effective dispute resolution doesn’t just solve problems—it restores trust and strengthens communication.
