OLUWASEYILAYO AKINMUNMI OJO, SAN is Senior Partner of S.O.&C Legal, a boutique law firm located in the Central Business District of Lagos State, Nigeria. His experience in law practice cuts across legal advisory, transaction documentation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, and complex general commercial litigation in varied areas of law, including corporate, commercial, oil and gas, trusts, real estate, insurance, pension and admiralty law. He regularly conducts matters before various tribunals (private and governmental) and at all levels of courts in Nigeria. He is a mediator and an arbitrator. He sits as arbitrator on domestic and international arbitration tribunals, and has represented parties before such tribunals.
He has attended and distinguished himself in series of courses both locally and internationally. He was the recipient of the 2004 Victor Folsom Fellowship/Scholarship for Africa from the Centre for American and International Law, Texas, U.S.A., where he attended the 6-week Academy for American and International Law. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, Pan African University, Lagos, Nigeria and more recently became Member, Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria.
