Personal bio
Dorothy Eboh (LLM, fACSC, MCIPS, MCIArb, MICMC, CMILT)
Dorothy is a Supply Chain and Legal Consultant with over 20 years of expertise in procurement, contract management, claims, and dispute resolution.
As Corporate Claims Adviser to Shell Companies in Nigeria (SCiN), she provided strategic legal guidance, implemented claims prevention strategies, and facilitated training that strengthened organizational risk management. She embedded the Society of Construction Law Delay and Disruption Protocol into project practices, equipping managers and engineers with practical knowledge of delay/time concepts such as float, disruption, acceleration, prolongation, and concurrent delay.
Dorothy successfully resolved disputes through negotiation, arbitration, and mediation, establishing a claims management process widely recognized across the Shell Group. This achievement led to her appointment as Technical Authority, Claims Management (TA2), where she oversaw a significant reduction in the claims portfolio.
She also developed a suite of CPD-certified Claims Management and Dispute Resolution courses tailored for project owners, managers, contractors, and service providers—addressing best practices, risks, claims strategies, and dispute avoidance across the project lifecycle.
Dorothy holds an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, and a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the Society of Construction law, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK & Nigeria), SCMA (UK), and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC). She is also a Fellow of the African Institute of Supply Chain and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport.
Following a distinguished 23 year career at SPDC, Dorothy is now a consultant with Multus Competentia Ltd, delivering innovative business management solutions.
