Abbas Alawneh is a Contract Manager / Adminstarator with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry across the UAE and Jordan. He has extensive experience in contract administration, claims assessment, variations, extension-of-time submissions, payment certification and the management of contractual correspondence under FIDIC-based and bespoke construction contracts.
He holds a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), a Member of the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (MAIADR), and holds the PMP and PMI-RMP certifications.
His professional interests include construction contracts, dispute avoidance and resolutions, claims management and international construction arbitration.
