Results-driven Energy Regulator and Agribusiness Entrepreneur with proven expertise in renewable energy development, utility dispute resolution, consumer protection, and data analytics. Currently serving as a Regulatory Officer at the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), with hands-on experience in policy and regulatory drafting, stakeholder engagement, project tracking, and compliance monitoring across the Nigerian electricity market and mini grids.
Strong background in rate design, tariff setting, production cost analysis, and regulatory reporting, coupled with advanced skills in data analytics (Power BI, Python, MS Excel) for evidence-based decision-making. Demonstrated success in customer complaint resolution, having processed quite a number of electricity consumer complaints between electricity distribution companies and communities, and reviewed mediation rulings, strengthening compliance with the Customer Protection Regulations (CPR 2023).
In addition to regulatory expertise, founded and managed successful agribusiness ventures, securing grants, investors, and clients, while pioneering renewable energy applications in agricultural value chains. Experienced in project management, capacity building, training, and technical report writing, with a proven track record of delivering impactful cross-sector projects in energy, agriculture, and rural development.

With Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, has complemented his academic background with extensive professional certifications, trainings, and memberships. Has earned 10 credits in the Certified Energy Regulator Program on Electricity Market Regulation from the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA). He has also completed specialized trainings in Cost-Reflective Tariff Design with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Regulators (NARUC, USA), and obtained a Certificate in Basic Electricity Regulation from the African Forum for Utility Regulators (AFUR).
Further, he has been trained in Introduction to Domestic Arbitration by the International Center for Arbitration and Mediation (ICAMA), Performance Management by Philips Consulting (pcl), and Big Data Analytics by MDU Consulting. In addition to these, he maintains active professional memberships with the Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON) and the International Union of Social Insects Scientists.
