Dr Poomintr Sooksripaisarnkit is an independent arbitrator, mediator and legal scholar with expertise in maritime law, commercial disputes, private international law, and cross-border legal issues. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA), and an accredited mediator with CEDR (UK) and the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL).

Dr Sooksripaisarnkit has extensive academic and professional experience in maritime and commercial law, with particular interests in conflict of laws, international commercial transactions, marine insurance, and international arbitration. He has published widely in these fields an is the author of numerous scholarly contributions.

He is also the Founder and Managing Director of Aequitas Advisory Limited, a specialist legal research and strategic advisory consultancy supporting complex cross-border legal matters. Through Aequitas, he provides independent legal analysis and strategic research support to legal practitioners and other professionals dealing with difficult or unsettled questions of law.

His approach combines academic depth with practical legal analysis, with an emphasis on clarity, independence, and careful consideration of complex legal issues.
