Personal bio
Randev de Alwis is a legal professional specializing in technology, data privacy, and international dispute resolution. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the National University of Singapore and is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) accredited by the IAPP. With prior litigation experience in Sri Lanka’s commercial appellate courts, Randev has advised on cross-border legal risks, regulatory compliance, and complex contractual matters. He has also undergone professional training in mediation and arbitration, and is currently deepening his expertise in commercial dispute resolution as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). His practice interests include arbitration involving digital trade, platform governance, and cross-jurisdictional tech-related disputes.
