Michael Marlowe G. Uy ("Mr. Uy") is an arbitrator and mediator from the Philippines. He is a Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution Department at SKY Law, with a specialization in civil and criminal litigation, commercial and construction arbitration, and commercial law.
Mr. Uy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators, and the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is also a Council Member of the Society of Construction Law Philippines.
He is on the panel of arbitrators of Philippine and international arbitral institutions. Mr. Uy is an accredited arbitrator and the Deputy Secretary General for Operations of the Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution (PICCR), an accredited arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center (PDRCI) and the Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Department of Justice of the Philippines (OADR), and a listed arbitrator of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Centre, the AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre (HKRAC), the Hainan International Arbitration Court (HIAC), the Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei (CAA Taipei), the Maldives International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), the eBRAM Online International Dispute Resolution Centre, The Private Arbitration Court in the United Kingdom, and the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SHIAC). Mr. Uy is likewise an accredited mediator of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) and a listed neutral for both arbitration and mediation at WIPO.

Mr. Uy holds an Executive Master of Laws in Regulation and Compliance (magna cum laude) from Católica Global School of Law in Lisbon, a Master in International Law, Foreign Trade and International Relations from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) in Madrid, and a Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines College of Law. He also holds a Master of Arts in Humanities with specialization in History and a Bachelor of Arts Major in Humanities, both with honors, from the University of Asia and the Pacific. He has completed the Pre-Judicature Program of the Philippine Judicial Academy and the International Legal Practice Program of the International Bar Association in collaboration with King's College London, IE University School of Law, and FGV Sao Paulo Law School, and has pursued studies at the Basel Winter Arbitration School and the Winter Courses of the Hague Academy of International Law.
