My professional background includes senior roles at Deloitte East Africa and Deloitte UK, where I advised multinational corporations and large domestic businesses on complex tax structuring, compliance, and cross-border transactions. I bring a strong blend of technical tax expertise and practical commercial insight, particularly in highly regulated sectors such as energy, manufacturing, finance, and international trade. I advise corporates, financial institutions, NGOs, and energy sector players on managing complex legal and tax risks, resolving high-value disputes, and strengthening governance and compliance frameworks.
My work includes representation in tax disputes before the Uganda Revenue Authority and the Tax Appeals Tribunal, acting as counsel and arbitrator in commercial disputes, and providing strategic advisory services on corporate governance and regulatory compliance. I also support clients in the oil, gas and energy sector on legal, fiscal, and regulatory issues, including benefit-sharing frameworks, local content compliance, and project-related advisory.
