Personal bio
I am an Advocate (Attorney at Law) practicing in the East African Courts with a bias for Kenya laws. I focus on both contentious and non-contentious legal work canvassing corporate/commercial transactions, disputes resolution, legal advisory, and legal research.
I have been largely involved in dispute resolution on complex commercial and land & environmental matters. I have litigated and resolved complex land matters in the Environment & Land Courts across Kenya.
In commercial litigation, I have mostly focused on dispute resolution in various arbitral tribunals, Tax Appeal Tribunals and at the High Court (Commercial). I have also handled employment, civil, and constitutional petitions.
In corporate matters, I advise on corporate structuring, contracts and employment, labour and consultancy relations. I appreciate the workings of the Companies and LLP Registries in Kenya; and I have facilitated numerous companies' incorporations & structuring with beneficial regulatory arbitrage outcomes.
I hold a LLM in Economic & Business Law from UZH, LLB from UoN, Certified Secretary under ICSK, and a Member - Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).
