Supreena Naidu is Fiji’s first certified International Commercial Arbitrator, holding Fellow status with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. With over 15 years of experience in the legal profession, she brings deep expertise in commercial, civil, and criminal litigation, constitutional and international law, and alternative dispute resolution.
A former Resident Magistrate, Supreena now leads the Litigation and ADR practice at AP Legal in Suva, where she advises on complex commercial disputes, regulatory risk, and compliance. Her career spans judicial, regulatory, advocacy, and academic roles—including serving as Manager of Regulatory Risk and Compliance at Digicel (Fiji), one of the largest telecommunications service providers in the Pacific and the Caribbean.
Supreena pioneered litigation in International Commercial Arbitration under Fiji’s International Arbitration Act 2017, and completed advanced training at Worcester College, Oxford. Her certification and practice mark a significant milestone for Fiji, elevating the country’s profile within the global arbitration community.
She is also a Mediator with the Fiji Mediation Centre and an External Academic at the University of the South Pacific, reflecting her commitment to legal education and dispute resolution. Her professional interests include arbitration, human rights, governance, international law and international relations, and transnational crime.
Supreena offers world-class arbitration services with a strong understanding of both international standards and Pacific regional dynamics. She is available for appointment as arbitrator or mediator in domestic and cross-border disputes.
