Personal bio
With over two decades of experience delivering multi‑billion‑QAR construction projects across aviation, hospitality, retail, residential and logistics, I currently serve as Vice‑President of Capital Projects for Qatar Airways Group. In this role I lead a global portfolio of complex developments, formulating procurement strategies, negotiating operational and commercial contracts, and managing budgets and resources to ensure projects are delivered to time, quality and cost targets. I am adept at working with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into built assets and have introduced innovative technology and training to improve efficiency and avoid formal disputes.
Throughout my career I have built a reputation for fast‑track delivery, strategic negotiation and stakeholder management. I have advised CEOs and boards on go‑to‑market strategies, developed public–private partnership tenders, and worked with world‑class designers and operators on hospitality and aviation developments. These experiences have honed my skills in risk management, claims avoidance and pragmatic problem solving, which naturally lead me toward dispute resolution.
To formalise this interest I am undertaking the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ Diploma in Arbitration (Level 7), complementing my MEng in Civil Engineering. My goal is to leverage my industry insight and negotiation skills to act as a fair and efficient arbitrator in construction and commercial disputes, helping parties reach equitable outcomes while maintaining relationships and business continuity. Fluent in English and Arabic, with conversational French, I bring cultural awareness and communication skills that are essential for international arbitration.
