Roseline Obiageli Nwosu (Mrs) graduated with LLB (Hons) from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1980 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981. She is a Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
She has since practiced Law in both Public and Private Sectors having worked in Federal Ministry of Justice, Corporate Affairs Commission and now practicing as Managing Counsel in the Law firm of Rose O. Ojiako-Nwosu and Company, a fully serviced Law firm in Abuja, Nigeria.
She has cognate Legal Practice experience spanning over Four(4) Decades and has acquired expertise in her core areas of practice which include but are not limited to Corporate and Commercial Law, Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
She has handled many Arbitration references and Mediation cases and speaks on ADR fora from time to time. She has acquired many Certifications in this specialised area.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)(UK); Fellow, Society of Construction Industry Arbitrators (SCIArb); Fellow, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and an Accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) (UK) amongst many others and is a Faculty member of CIArb(UK); the International Centre for Arbitration and Mediation, Abuja (ICAMA); Society of Construction Industry Arbitrators and also of the Nigerian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Dispute Resolution Centre (NCC DRC).
She serves as a Neutral in many ADR establishments amongst which are the Abuja Multi door Court House, Nigerian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Dispute Resolution Centre and the ADR Centre of the Federal High Court of Nigeria.
Roseline Obiageli Nwosu is a member of many Professional bodies viz: Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Life Member, International Federation of Women Lawyers, (FIDA); Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)(UK); Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC); Mediation Training Institute (MTI); Chartered Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria, Guild of Adjudicators in Nigeria(GAIN); and Family Peace Facilitators of Nigeria (FPFN) amongst others.
She is very passionate about upholding and enforcing the rights of Women and Children and has served variously as Chair, International Federation of Women Lawyers, Abuja, FIDA international Parliamentarian and FIDA International Regional Vice President for West and North Africa.
She is currently the Chair, Membership Committee of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chairperson, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) (UK), Nigeria Branch, Abuja Chapter.
