I am Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years of experience across building, infrastructure and civil engineering sectors, having held senior roles with Main Contractors, Specialist Contractors and Consultancies.
My core expertise lies in the commercial management of contentious projects, including dispute avoidance and resolution, consulting and the provision of independent expert quantum reports. I regularly provide advice on live projects to mitigate risk and prevent disputes and have served as a representative on a Dispute Resolution Board for an infrastructure Joint Venture Framework.
I am experienced in adjudication and arbitration, providing forensic cost analysis and valuations of cost, loss, and damages, with clear, defensible quantum assessments. I also have significant experience in the commercial administration of large scale projects, advising on risk mitigation, pricing, estimation, and the negotiation of bespoke or amended contract conditions.
As an accredited NEC Project Manager, I have extensive experience with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, including the Professional Services and Supply Forms. I provide specialist advice on Project Manager duties and obligations and have recently been engaged in several professional negligence matters concerning the conduct of Project Managers under NEC contracts
