Personal bio
Independent consultant in commercial and contract management for the construction and infrastructure sector, covering the full professional spectrum of both the Commercial Manager and the Contract Manager roles.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a qualified international arbitrator, as well as a RICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor. Over many years I have worked across contracts, quantity surveying, ADR, claims, real estate appraisal and development, and investment evaluation — on projects ranging up to USD 3.5 billion in residential, commercial, infrastructure and special buildings.
As an independent consultant I rely on my experience supporting PMCs, contractors and PMOs across the project lifecycle:
- Contract management under both FIDIC and bespoke forms — drafting, administration, negotiation, variations and change control.
- Claims management (active and passive): entitlement qualification, delay analysis (TIA), and quantum appraisal.
- Commercial and quantity surveying: cost assessment and control, BOQ management, IPC certification, estimating and cost tracking.
- Dispute resolution / ADR: arbitration, adjudication and negotiated settlement.
- Real estate and investment: appraisal, development advisory and evaluation of investments.
Selected background includes senior contract roles on flagship Saudi giga-projects — Golf Courses delivery at Qiddiya, the Riyadh Art Program (Royal Commission for Riyadh City, budget in excess of SAR 6 billion across 10 sub-programs), a 6,000-villa housing programme with related civil and utilities infrastructure (aggregate USD 3 billion), and two aviation projects, KAP5.
