Personal bio

Aleksander is the Michael Brown Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at the Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution, the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London. His specialism is in construction law, dispute resolution and international economic law. Aleksander also has practical experience in common and civil law jurisdictions having worked on High Court commercial litigations and arbitrations under the SIAC, DIAC, LCIA, ICC, SCC, VIAC and ICSID arbitration rules. He acts as an Independent Consultant in dispute resolution, is a Visiting Fellow at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law at Stockholm University and a Visiting Lecturer at the British Law Centre.

He is the co-author of the 'Construction Adjudication in the UK: Tracing trends and guiding reform' reports and has published in leading academic journals including the Journal of International Dispute Settlement, Arbitration International and the International Journal for the Semiotics of Law.
