Marina Hadjisoteriou is a Partner and the Head of International Disputes at Patrikios Legal, a top-tier law firm in Limassol, Cyprus.
Her core areas of practice include asset recovery, cross-border commercial litigation, civil litigation, international arbitration, and insolvency.
She has significant experience in handling high-value, complex fraud and asset tracing cases, often involving worldwide freezing orders, disclosure orders, and gagging orders. She is also well-versed in shareholder disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty and obtaining recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in Cyprus.
Marina frequently acts for local and foreign liquidators, provisional liquidators, receivers, and bankruptcy trustees, and has successfully filed and defended liquidation and oppression proceedings.
In addition, Marina has extensive experience in professional negligence matters, including medical negligence litigation. She has represented both patients and doctors in a wide range of claims and is frequently appointed by insurance companies to safeguard the interests of medical professionals — reflecting the trust placed in her balanced and pragmatic approach to such sensitive cases.
She has authored various publications and is often invited to speak at international conferences.
