Mr. Motswagole is a Pavement Materials Engineer with over 35 years’ experience in Pavement Materials Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Studies, and Project Management. His qualifications include an MSc in Geomaterials from the University of London, Queen Mary and Westfield College. His main areas of specialisation include Foundation Investigations and Soil Improvement, construction material investigations including quarries, construction materials stabilisation, pavement design, pavement investigations and analysis, construction quality control, specialised testing of construction materials, use of marginal materials in construction, investigation of subsurface-related building failures, and construction materials-related research. Kabelo is a Pavement materials specialist.
Having qualified in both Geosciences and Engineering, Kabelo has, over the years, been involved in major projects including dams, Bridges, Roads, Buildings, Infrastructure development, and resource evaluation. He also managed projects in the areas of EIA, Geotechnical, Bridges, filling stations, quarries, borrow pits, landfill, and infrastructure.
Kabelo has researched extensively in pavement performance, durability of construction materials, and the use of marginal materials. He has also published in his area of expertise, including the following guidelines and manuals:

•Guideline on Methods and Procedures on Prospecting for Road Construction Materials.
•Guideline on Post-Construction Technical Audit of Road Construction Projects.

•Guideline on the use of Kalahari sands for road construction
•Guideline on Operating Procedures for Central Materials Laboratory.
•Guideline on Quality Control Testing on Labour-based Gravel Roads.
Mr. Motswagole also holds a Certificate in Finance, and his recent training in Project Finance has provided him with tools that will enable him to use his vast experience in Engineering as part of the transaction advice team for private financing of projects.
Mr. Motswagole is a member of several professional Institutions and has served on several professional Boards, some as a chairperson.
