Basil Odigie is a mechanical engineering graduate who has had over 40 years of extensive experience in engineering, procurement and construction contracts, including the standard form contracts like, the International Federation of Consulting Engineers [FIDIC], Joint Contract Tribunal [JCT], New Engineering Contract [NEC], Project Partnering Contract [PPC200], Association of General Contractor [AGC]; and I am a member of National Contract Management Association, USA and I possess Project Management Professionals (PMP) credentials.
He is an independent construction Arbitrator and Claims Consultant. I am also an adjudicator and a member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation and Dispute Board Federation. I have participated in numerous professional development programmes organized by international arbitration and dispute adjudication institutions, including CIArb, ICC, LCIA, ITA(USA), DRBF, and Caltrans DOT.
He has had over 50 domestic and international arbitral appointments including adjudication appointments.
