Personal bio
Before joining MLR Legal, he held positions as Senior Associate in litigation at regional law firms, as well as Regional Legal Counsel at regional tech company. He also served as Country Counsel and Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Malaysian’s unicorn company, the regional leader in the digital automotive sector, where he developed strong expertise in risk management and legal policy development.
His career also includes experience with Thai pro-democracy political parties where he gained experience on criminal law, administrative and constitutional law, and regulatory law as well as was being a secretary of the Committee on Law, Justice and Human Rights, House of Representatives of Thailand.
Worawit holds an LL.B. from Thammasat University (2015), Lawyer’s License of the Lawyers Council of Thailand, and Certified Thailand Data Protection Officer (T-DPO) of the Digital Council of Thailand. He is a Member of Thai Bar Association, and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and holds the Google Cybersecurity Specialization certification.
Worawit is a Special Lecturer at Faculty of Law, Thammasat University.
Worawit is fluent in Thai and English.
