Personal bio
My approach to dispute resolution is rooted in clarity, fairness, and proportionality. Whether acting as arbitrator or mediator, I aim to create a process that is structured yet accessible, combining analytical rigour with practical insight.
I welcome appointments both under institutional rules and by direct party agreement.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a CMC Registered Mediator with experience across civil, commercial, property, and technology disputes. My practice draws on a strong academic and professional foundation in law, technology, and dispute resolution.
I am capable of conducting arbitrations and mediations across civil, commercial, and technology-related disputes, applying structured reasoning and procedural fairness to each matter. My interdisciplinary background in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and law and technology enables me to approach complex disputes with clarity and technical understanding, particularly where digital evidence or technological systems form part of the case.
I am an unregistered barrister called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn and appear regularly in County Court hearings on civil and commercial matters as advocate.
I have sat as arbitrator and have delivered awards under statutory or contractual schemes. My work often involves the application of procedural fairness, contractual interpretation, and evidence assessment in factual settings.
As a mediator, I am listed on the Civil Mediation Council’s Specialist SEND Register and have facilitated settlements in various disputes. My approach is pragmatic, grounded in clear communication and careful evaluation of each party’s interests.

Professional Background:
Before entering legal practice, I built a career of over two decades in international IT consulting, leading ERP and AI-driven system implementations across multiple sectors and jurisdictions. This background equips me with the capacity to act effectively in technology-related disputes, particularly those involving software contracts, system implementation failures, and data security matters. It provides a practical understanding of the technical and commercial context in which such disputes arise, supporting my capability to analyse complex evidence and apply appropriate procedural and substantive principles in arbitration.
I also founded and directed an expert witness agency that supported more than two thousand law firms nationwide. This experience has given me a detailed understanding of litigation dynamics, expert evidence, and procedural efficiency.
