Personal bio
Dr. Yang is the Deputy Secretary General and Vice President of the Arbitration Court of China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC). She is an arbitrator and mediator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Dr. Yang has over 20 years of arbitration experiences. She has participated in the hearing and management of a lot of domestic and international arbitration cases as sole arbitrator, case manager, or award scrutinizer, and has scrutinized over 3000 arbitral awards. She often speaks at domestic and international arbitration events.
Dr. Yang is qualified to practice law in PRC and New York. She received LLB and LLM degrees from China Foreign Affairs University in 2000 and 2003 respectively, an LLM degree from New York University School of Law in 2011, and a law Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University School of Law in 2020.
