Qudus Alalafia is a Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist with extensive experience spanning civil and criminal litigation, arbitration, real estate and property law, election petitions, sports law, and corporate/commercial practice. His work is driven by a commitment to delivering strategic, practical, and results-oriented legal solutions to complex disputes and commercial challenges.
He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with Distinction and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
As a legal scholar, Mr. Alalafia has authored several publications featured by Lambert Academic Publishing and Al-Hikmah University. He regularly provides expert legal commentary on national television and radio platforms and contributes to leading newspapers on contemporary legal and policy issues. In 2023, he was recognized among Nigeria’s Top 100 Lawyers, ranking 41st on the Legal Eagle Initiative list, and received an Award of Excellence from the West African Law Students’ Association in recognition of his contributions to legal education and mentorship.
Passionate about capacity building and professional development, he lectures Business Law at the Tax Academy accredited by the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in Abuja, where he contributes to the training and development of emerging tax and legal professionals.
Mr. Alalafia currently serves as a Partner at Chinedu G. Udora & Co., where he provides strategic leadership and innovative legal solutions in dispute resolution, corporate advisory, and client-focused legal services. He remains committed to advancing legal scholarship, strengthening dispute resolution practice, and contributing to nation-building through continuous learning, advocacy, and professional excellence.
