I possess a wealth of knowledge and experience across a range of practice areas and sectors, with sound financial understanding. I bring 22 years of litigation and dispute resolution experience from different perspectives when conducting arbitrations, mediations and expert determinations.
My career encompasses roles ranging from in-house General Counsel, Head of Legal, Compliance and Company Secretariat, to Managing Partner in private practice, and as a distinguished Barrister for my dispute resolution skills recognised as a finalist in the 2019 and 2020 Australian Law Awards for Barrister of the year for Australia. As a Mediator I was awarded Mediator of the year in the 2025 Australian Alternative Dispute Resolution Awards.
I have been admitted as a legal practitioner in Australia and New Zealand, as a Registered Foreign Lawyer of the Singapore International Commercial Court and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Having for a portion of my legal career worked as a Solicitor, and another portion as a Barrister. I hold an Australian Builder Licence. I’m a Mediator under the Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA).
Additionally, I possess significant commercial and operational experience, having served in senior executive and non-executive capacities across diverse sectors. My skills and experience have been acquired from working with startups through to some of the world’s largest multinational corporations, small tech and construction businesses through to Tier 1 construction companies, Banking and Finance, energy and resources, top tier law, and as a senior consultant on mega infrastructure projects.
My qualifications in law, building and construction, economics, finance, compliance, and management, coupled with a quantitative Doctorate in Business Administration, underscore my multifaceted skill set and ability to excel when conducting arbitrations, mediations and expert determinations.
