Personal bio
I am an independent dispute resolution practitioner, a member of the CIArb, and accredited as a mediator by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), as well as registered with the Spanish Ministry of Justice’s Mediators Registry. I am also a Member of the Specialist Mediator Panel of the Singapore International Mediation Centre. I serve on the board of the Madrid Business Mediation Centre (CMEM), part of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and am a member of its Committee on the Study of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
My experience as an arbitration lawyer and mediator is extensive, particularly in commercial, construction, insurance, and civil liability disputes, in both Spanish and English. I have also served as legal counsel in a variety of conflicts, bringing my expertise to bear before state courts, dispute boards, experts, and national and international arbitration courts, including the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
