Personal bio
Dr Kanyanta Sunkutu, ACIArb, is a medical doctor and public health specialist with extensive international experience in public health leadership, health diplomacy, strategic partnerships and conflict resolution. His work in complex humanitarian and fragile settings, including Afghanistan, has involved navigating environments characterised by persistent conflict, competing interests and the need for constructive negotiation and consensus-building.
As an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, he is particularly interested in the application of arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution to medico-legal disputes, healthcare-related conflicts, professional and institutional disagreements, and wider commercial and organisational disputes. He seeks to bring his experience in negotiation, diplomacy and managing complex stakeholder relationships to the advancement of fair, effective and constructive dispute resolution.
