DDEMBE Ismail is a Quantity Surveying professional at the level of a Senior Cost Manager with a diverse and wide range of experience, complemented by strategic leadership in the housing and Infrastructure sectors, proficient in contract and commercial management of large and challenging projects, he is also familiar with all standard forms of contract. He manages, communicates and motivates his team members to achieve and fulfil targets and delivers to the demands of clients and stakeholders.
Ismail has demonstrable practice throughout his career of applying a logical approach to challenges, performing competently within highly pressurized multi-disciplined working environments on complex projects, and being quick to grasp new ideas and concepts to apply for the projects commercial benefit.
For more than 14 years, DDEMBE Ismail worked in the African Construction industry at some of the biggest construction companies under several roles which have honed his skills and where he learned a lot during that time. These roles have seen his teams navigate complex construction projects with a focus on value and efficiency.
His project portfolio includes a variety of Commercial, Education, Industrial (Power Plants), Hospitality (Hotels), Hospitals, Infrastructure (Hydro dams, Roads), Water Supply, Regeneration, IT (TV and Radio Station), and housing projects. He has worked for contractors, developers, and consultants on projects across Rwanda, Uganda, and Ivory Coast. His collaborative efforts in East Africa's construction sector have been instrumental in elevating projects, ensuring that every detail aligns with the clients' best interests and project goals.
From his previous experience, and towards his professional journey lies a mission to empower development through ethical collaborative efforts.
