Handled various responsibilities in oil& Gas sector, right from Projects , SAP implementation, Governance and integration. held very senior position in Reliance Industries Limited, India, a fortune 100 company in the world.
Over 40 years industry experience in Heavy industries and Oil& Gas and handled almost all finance functions like costing, budgeting, Income tax and GST and other indirect taxes of India.
Has an IT - ERP experience of more than 20 years right from 1998 and was part of roll out of SAP in more than 30 organisations in various capacities upto Program Management overseeing Digital business Transformation project from 2013 to 2017.
Was Group CFO for 6 subsidiary companies of Reliance Industries in East Africa in oil& gas sector. As Group CFO in addition to Finance and banking, was in charge of legal, corporate Governance, Audit and was director in all companies. Administered the Share purchase agreement with shareholders who sold majority stake. Recovered more than $ 5 million on account of breach of warranties and other recoveries.
In legal, more than 10 legal cases which were pending in courts, were settled out of court and closed cases in court with settlement deed. was a Key negotiator in trade union negotiations and finalised agreement for 3 years though the norm was one year.
As a player as purchaser and seller of petroleum products part of the team in negotiated claim settlements between parties in many cases. handled various cases of contamination of products, demurrage claim and other legal cases including seizure of Vessels.
Handled large level business transformation & IT ( digital) transformation as Program manager taking business and IT together and successful roll out.
Post superannuation from Reliance , as a SME in oil&gas as well as SAP, managing SAP projects across world for oil& gas companies.
