Personal bio

Patrick is an associate in the London office of Gowling WLG. He advises clients in technical disputes across the construction, energy, infrastructure and oil & gas spheres. His experience includes representing clients in proceedings conducted under the aegis of all major arbitration institutions. Patrick has recently acted for a European contractor in a construction dispute arising from a significant public works contract in West Africa; a major European importer in two gas price re-opener disputes against a State-owned gas seller; and a North African joint venture in proceedings against a State-owned utility concerning an energy conversion agreement. Before joining Gowling WLG, Patrick worked in the international arbitration practices of leading international firms in Paris and London. Patrick is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales. He holds degrees from the University of Warwick and the University of Law, as well as a postgraduate diploma (with Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London, where he focused on trade and investment disputes. Patrick is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and a member of several arbitration practitioner organisations. He speaks fluent French.
