Personal bio
Prof. Dr. Navin G. Ahuja is a mediator and arbitrator at Mediation Chambers, bringing nearly two decades of extensive experience in the international sale of goods and manufacturing to his role. He holds a law degree, a Master's specializing in ADR, and a Doctorate focusing on guerrilla tactics in international commercial arbitration. Navin is also a Visiting Professor of Law at Guangxi University.
Navin is the Co-President of the Moot Alumni Association (MAA). In addition, he is the Director of Mooting and ADR Competitions at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) in Visakhapatnam. He also serves as the AIADR Special Representative to Singapore. Navin is a member of various panels, including the Presidential Panel of Arbitrators of the AIADR.
An accomplished author, Navin wrote the book “Taming the Guerrilla in International Commercial Arbitration: Levelling the Playing Field”, which has garnered acclaim from leading academics and practitioners. He actively contributes to the discourse in ADR through his publications and as a member of the editorial board for the International Arbitration Law Review, alongside delivering guest lectures on mooting, ADR, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
An accredited general mediator since 2013, Navin has completed an advanced mediation masterclass and successfully guided aspiring mediators, including lawyers, law students, and
professionals from diverse fields, through the accreditation process.
Navin has had incredible success in coaching teams in various ADR mooting competitions to achieve outstanding results.
