Vikas Kumar, FCIArb, is an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India with around 20 years of diverse legal experience. He has successfully handled hundreds of cases across a broad spectrum of legal domains, including civil, criminal, commercial, arbitration, land and estate, intellectual property, municipal, and regulatory matters.

As an empanelled mediator with the Supreme Court Mediation Centre, New Delhi, Mr. Kumar actively facilitates dispute resolution through mediation. He firmly believes in the power of mediation to resolve complex and routine conflicts amicably, fostering both peace among parties and economic efficiency. His commitment to mediation complements his broader advocacy for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) as an essential pillar of an effective and sustainable justice system.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), London, Mr. Kumar leads Corporate Legal Partners, a New Delhi–based law firm specializing in commercial law and dispute resolution. He advises leading corporations, banks, financial institutions, and multinational companies. With experience in over 60 arbitration matters as counsel, he is also empanelled as an arbitrator with key institutions such as the Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA), Hyderabad Arbitration Centre (HAC), Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), Indian Dispute Resolution Centre (IDRC), and India International Arbitration Centre (IIAC).

I am honoured to be a Life Member of Supreme Court Bar Association, Indian Council of Arbitration, FICCI, India and Bar Association of India. In addition to other professional associations, I am also a member of the Supreme Court Advocate-on-Record Association, Delhi High Court Bar Association, National Company Law Tribunal & Appellate Tribunal Bar Association, Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre, International Bar Association, London and FCIArb (CIArb, London).
