Personal bio
I am an experienced family barrister with over 15 years’ experience in private law children. I qualified as an Arbitrator in 2024. I am particularly skilled at identifying the central issues in a dispute, cutting through unnecessary conflict and focusing on the decisions that matter for the child.
I understand that effective dispute resolution requires not only a sound understanding of the law and evidence, but also the ability to listen carefully, communicate clearly and manage difficult dynamics between parents.
I have extensive experience of child arrangements disputes including disputes about schooling and education, relocation and other significant decisions concerning children.
I also have particular experience of cases involving neurodivergent parents and children and understand the importance of adapting communication and the process where appropriate to ensure that everyone can participate effectively.
I offer a sensitive but decisive approach to arbitration, with the aim of helping parties move beyond conflict and providing clear, practical and child-focused determinations.
