Personal bio
Muhammad Yunus is an Advocate of the High Court of Pakistan and an International Arbitrator (MCIArb) with over 23 years of professional experience in litigation, arbitration, judicial service, and legal advisory. He previously served as a Civil Judge under the Lahore High Court, adjudicating more than 5,000 civil, criminal, family, and commercial cases.
As Chief Executive of Arham & Yunus Law Firm, he has successfully represented clients in over 1,000 trial cases and 500 High Court cases, with a strong portfolio in arbitration, banking litigation, cybercrime, intellectual property, corporate compliance, and regulatory affairs. He has acted as counsel and arbitrator for leading institutions including Meezan Bank, TOTAL PARCO, National Insurance Company Limited, Beaconhouse, and several multinational corporations.
Mr. Yunus is recognized for his cross-border legal expertise, including proceedings under CIArb and UNCITRAL rules, as well as for handling complex disputes involving financial fraud, cybercrime, taxation, energy, and construction law. He combines his background in law, psychology (MSc), and Islamic studies (MA) to bring strategic insight, empathy, and resilience to his practice.
He is a member of the Islamabad Bar Council, Islamabad High Court Bar Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
