Personal bio

I founded Chambers of Shanta Mohan in 2014, a boutique legal firm that specializes in Alternate Dispute Resolution. I obtained an LLB with (Hons) in 1986 from the University of Buckingham, England and a Certificate in legal Practice in 1987. I have been practicing at the Malaysian Bar since 1988.
I hold a Diploma in International Arbitration from The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Dip. ICArb) which was conducted in Keeble College, Oxford in 2011 and a Certificate in Adjudication(AIAC). I am a Fellow of the F.C. IArb, FMSAdj, FAIADR.
I am accredited Mediator with the Malaysian International Mediation Centre since 2000. My area of specialization is Construction, Insurance, Reinsurance, Contract and Tortious claims. I have to date delivered over 15 Adjudication Decisions and a handful of Arbitration Final Awards. I am presently sitting on Arbitration and an Adjudication.
