Peter has experience across approximately 100 complex share, business, and intangible asset valuation, damages quantification, forensic accounting (including contentious accounting treatments) engagements – mostly for high stakes dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation, litigation, and expert determination) in an expert or consulting role.
His expertise has been recognised by The Academy of Experts, a tenant of Gray’s Inn, London where he is a full practising member. He also has the globally recognised Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (Singapore, International Valuation Standards), Chartered Certified Accountant (UK, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)), and Chartered Financial Analyst (US, Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles (GAAP)/IFRS) designations. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Peter’s disputes experience includes shareholder, joint venture, post-acquisition / M&A, business interruption insurance, marital, contract, compulsory acquisition, expert determination, tax-related, and other commercial disputes.
Peter has been regularly instructed and / or involved in international commercial arbitration matters including under SIAC, HKIAC, AIAC, and ICC rules, other ADR mechanisms including mediation and expert determination, plus commercial litigation matters in Australia (Federal and State), Cayman Islands, Malaysia and Singapore - including parties and assets across Asia Pacific (APAC) and in key global jurisdictions. He has acted for private equity, listed company, and high net worth clients. He is also listed as a Recommended in the Lexology Consulting Experts 2025 Index.
