Anil Kumar Shrestha, FCIArb is an advocate, listed arbitrator, and construction dispute specialist with over 15 years of experience in arbitration, adjudication, and commercial litigation in Nepal. He serves as the Managing Director of Advocate and Associates Pvt. Ltd. and is an Associate Professor of Law at Kathmandu School of Law. A Listed Arbitrator at the Patan High Court and an Executive Committee Member of the Nepal Council of Arbitration (NEPCA), Anil has served extensively as sole arbitrator, tribunal member, and court-appointed arbitrator in complex domestic and cross-border commercial disputes. His counsel practice focuses heavily on high-stakes infrastructure, public procurement, and FIDIC-based construction contracts, representing parties in major national pride projects across the energy, water resources, transportation, and aviation sectors. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law focusing on Nepal's arbitration regime in construction disputes, Anil is also a widely published author on dispute resolution, arbitrator ethics, and public procurement law. He holds an LL.M. and has completed the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ Accelerated Route to Fellowship (ARF) assessment on arbitral award writing.
