Personal bio
Dr. Ardeshir Atai is a senior lecturer in law at the University of Hertfordshire ( United Kingdom) . His teaching area is Corporate finance and banking law.
Ardeshir is senior partner at Atai & Associates - a full service law firm based in Tehran, Iran. He has advised multinational companies in disputes concerning investment and joint ventures, construction law and shareholders agreements.
Ardeshir has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals concerning investment and arbitration.
Since June 2019, Dr. Atai has been appointed as the chairman of the Iran Chapter of the European Court of Arbitration (ICECA).
Dr. Atai is member of the International Arbitration Institute (IAI) in Paris, AMCham Arbitration Center in Kosovo and the Tehran Regional Arbitration Center (TRAC).
