Personal bio
Director in the Expert Services practice, based in Madrid. I have more than 15 years of international experience in project controls, contract management, and dispute resolution across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas. My expertise spans infrastructure, power and energy, buildings, offshore, shipbuilding, and industrial/process sectors, including landmark projects in the United Kingdom, Qatar, the Netherlands, and Central and South America.
Before joining Kroll, I led the delay expert services offered within Diales’ Dispute Resolution practice in Madrid, where I established and managed the delay team, earning a strong reputation among clients and legal counsel and maintaining consistently low staff turnover in a highly competitive market.
I have acted as a delay expert, supporting quantum, in proceedings before the ICC, SCC, ICSID, CIArb, and CAM arbitration institutions, as well as Dispute Adjudication Boards (DABs) and court proceedings. My experience covers infrastructure, energy, building construction, and industrial facilities projects across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. I have been cross-examined on multiple occasions and has been involved in disputes with amounts in controversy exceeding hundreds of millions of euros.
Before specializing in dispute resolution, I held senior roles in project controls and contract management with leading international contractors. My experience includes co-leading the Planning and Controls Department for the Hinkley Point C new-build nuclear programme in the United Kingdom, valued at over £24 billion, and the Major Stations project for the Doha Metro. I have also led programme management, claims assessment, and delay analysis assignments on major projects and work for contractors including Ferrovial, OHLA, and Bouygues/Laing O'Rourke.
I specialize in forensic delay analysis and productivity loss assessment, applying industry-recognized methodologies and established standards to evaluate schedule impacts and quantify their associated financial consequences.
I hold a Civil Engineering degree from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), I am Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and have been recognized as a Construction Expert in the Lexology Global Index 2025
