Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) based in Hong Kong, available for appointment as sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in international and China-related commercial arbitrations.
Has acted as sole arbitrator in a Hong Kong-seated arbitration and as co-arbitrator in a PRC-seated arbitration, with experience in managing procedural timetables, addressing default scenarios, closing proceedings, dealing with costs and drafting arbitral awards.
Combines arbitral experience with senior in-house general counsel roles at Morgan Stanley and CITIC Securities International, prior training at Slaughter and May, and experience serving on the boards of public companies as executive and non-executive director, bringing a pragmatic and commercially focused approach to decision-making, risk assessment and case management.
Sector focus includes financial services, private equity, corporate and shareholder disputes, M&A and cross-border investment matters, particularly those involving Greater China.
