Ciarb Presidential Election shortlist announced

The first round of voting has narrowed the candidates to six nominees.

Ciarb is pleased to announce the successful candidates following the first round of voting. These candidates now move to the second and final round of voting for the Ciarb Presidential elections:

  • Dr David Kariuki C.Arb FCIArb (Kenya Branch)
  • Brandon Malone FCIArb (Scotland Branch)
  • Cesar Pereira C.Arb FCIArb (Brazil Branch)
  • Professor Christopher To C.Arb FCIArb (East Asia Branch)
  • Michael Tonkin C.Arb FCIArb (UAE Branch)

Whether addressing international institutions, collaborating with national chapters, or championing the interests of our members, the President is central to strengthening Ciarb’s influence and ensuring its relevance on the world stage."

Voting for Round Two opened on 2 May 2025. At the end of the voting period the results will be communicated to candidates and then published on Ciarb’s website.

The newly elected Deputy President and Vice-President will take up office with immediate effect. The Deputy President will assume office as President in 2026, and the Vice-President will assume office as President in 2027.
