Cesar Pereira C.Arb FCIArb, comments, “These past couple of months have been an extraordinary experience. I am a strong believer in the potential of Ciarb as a platform for interaction and collaboration between Branches. Connecting with Branch committees, Ciarb members and my fellow presidential candidates over this period only reinforced this conviction. We as Ciarb are many different things across the globe. Ciarb serves a variety of purposes in each jurisdiction. Awareness of such diversity is an astonishing realisation, and it illustrates the richness of our experience as members of Ciarb.
I ran on a very clear platform: increase the collaboration between Branches and focus on the benefits Ciarb members can gain from taking part in a truly active and engaged international network. That I received such a representative vote is a testament to how these goals resonate with our members. I am grateful to all those who believed in and supported this project. The enthusiasm from the Branches is humbling and increases my responsibility. It also makes me confident that I am on the right track. My commitment from day one of my term as President is to do all I can within my mandate to bring Branches together and ensure every Ciarb member can gain the international visibility, knowledge and experience they look for when they join.
It is an immense pleasure to share now this mission with President Professor Dr Mohamed Abdel Wahab C.Arb FCIArb and Vice-President Michael Tonkin C.Arb FCIArb. I congratulate all my colleagues who took part in this year’s election and count especially on their generous collaboration to help make Ciarb an even greater organisation.”

Having been a member of Ciarb for over two decades, I have witnessed the organisation’s remarkable growth and global impact, and I am firmly committed to building on this legacy and supporting the continued advancement of Ciarb’s stated aims.
