Jim O'Donnell

Director of IT and Digital Transformation

Jim joined CIArb in 2021 and is responsible for our technology platforms and systems, leading our IT roadmap implementation, Cyber and Information Security posture and the day to day operations of Information Technology.

With a wide and extensive background in technology, including previous roles as Chief Information Officer in the Education sector, Senior IT Director in multiple organisations in the technology space and as Digital Transformation & Technology Director in the “not for profit” membership sector.  He has served on various Customer Advisory Boards and has several years’ experience as a Non-Executive Director for a UK based, global IT & recruitment organisation. Jim believes in collaborative, Business & Data led change process, that informs the IT roadmap that is enabled by IT. 

Outside of work, Jim is an avid football fan, loves golf (but not to be very good), participates in giving back programmes, mentoring and action around “Green IT” and the environment.
