Ciarb is launching its first ever Spanish language Arbitration Programme
As the use of Spanish in international arbitration is increasingly on the rise, Ciarb is piloting a course in Costa Rica.
This five-day in-person programme includes an introductory course, a mid-level course, and an Accelerated Route to Fellowship (ARF) course with an English assessment, a networking event and a public conference — all delivered in Spanish.
The pilot course is run in partnership with Mediation and Arbitration Center (CAM), Colegio de Abogados/Law Society, The International Centre for Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation (CIAMEN) and CEU Universidad San Pablo, Ciarb Brazil Branch, Ciarb North America Branch, Ciarb Peru Chapter, and Ciarb Iberian Chapter.
This pilot will take place from 5-9 October 2026 in CAM Costa Rica (Colegio de Abogados/Law Society) in San José.
This pilot is for aspiring and current arbitration professionals in Costa Rica and the wider Central American region.
