What our 2025 candidates say

“One of the most rewarding and unexpected aspects was how collaborative the virtual learning environment became. Despite being online, the course fostered genuine interaction and connection. Participants from across the globe brought diverse legal, commercial and technical perspectives, which greatly enriched the sessions. All the participants were seasoned professionals with impressive CVs and substantial experience in shipping, arbitration, and related fields. This diversity of thought and background, combined with the expert guidance of the tutors, created an atmosphere of mutual respect and shared learning. I must admit that, at times, I felt a refreshing sense of being a fresher again, eager to absorb knowledge and motivated to learn more.”

Angelos Kostakos LLB, LLM

“The calibre of the faculty – they are truly the crème de la crème - seamlessly bridged academic rigour and professional experiences, and animated our live sessions. The lectures and case presentations gave us an in-depth grasp of the LMAA framework and the nuances of maritime arbitration. The Diploma’s structure, combining live sessions with extensive reading materials, bridged theory and practice very effectively.

This Maritime Arbitration Diploma equipped me with the knowledge, tools and confidence to manage complex maritime disputes, even in a volatile context like Haiti. I was also pleased to network with peers around the world, which added significant value.”

Christelle St-Natus Cavé

“I wanted to specialise in this niche area, and Ciarb stood out as the best institution for comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge, and it absolutely delivered. The Diploma gave me the opportunity to learn from renowned arbitrators worldwide, which was exhilarating, and the support was exceptional.

The course was intellectually enriching and clarified my career path, offering academic depth and practical direction, and helped turn my uncertainties into confidence. I would absolutely recommend Ciarb’s Maritime Diploma – it is a must for anyone serious about maritime arbitration. It’s not just an expense; it’s an invaluable investment in your professional future.”
