It is important to note that although some Ciarb Trustees are elected on a regional basis, all serving Trustees have collective responsibility for the oversight of Ciarb and each Trustee has a fiduciary duty to Ciarb in accordance with charity law in England and Wales. As such, regional Trustees are not elected to represent the interests of their regions although they can and do provide valuable input about relevant regional and global issues.
